Whether you’re in a hurry or you’ve got time to spare – in which case a bath with lashings of Gabrielle CHANEL bubbles is a must – it’s time to drop the bags from a long day of shopping and get trying on outfits. Watch how Kathie and Franzi get ready for this season’s hottest party at The Dorchester.
But what is the secret to beautiful party make-up? We caught up with make-up artist Gina Kane to find out her party beauty rules. Time-poor or not, "preparation is everything", she says. "Do your skincare in a steamy bathroom so the product can penetrate. A hydrated face, neck and décolletage before applying make-up is key."
"For a party lip look that lasts, prep with a lip scrub and then a lip balm, remembering to blot between each coat of colour," says Gina. And when preparing your clutch bag for the evening, "pack a Rouge Coco Baume to maintain dewiness on cheeks and lips," says Gina. "And don’t forget CHANEL blotting papers. They are a make-up artist must-have and whip away any excess oil or shine in an instant."
"The rules of party make-up? There are none: choose something you feel amazing in."Gina Kane
