The moment of the season…Without a doubt, Karl Lagerfeld’s last collection for Chanel. The Grand Palais was transformed into a winter wonderland complete with snow-capped pine trees, chalets with smoking chimney stacks and Chanel skis. Everyone observed a minute of silence in honour of Karl, and his muses, including Cara Delevingne and Penelope Cruz, walked the runway.

No.1 show… I loved lots but if I had to pick just one I would go with Loewe. It was chic in a supremely understated way. And all the outerwear was divine.

The front row was wearing… Trench coats in every colour, the Bottega Veneta pouch, Chloe’s C bag, Alanui cardigans in myriad hues, all manner of hair accessories: clips, padded headbands and scrunchies.

Tiffanie Darke, Editor-in-Chief

Standout look… The red couture dress that closed the Alexander McQueen show. When we went to see it afterwards we discovered the whole construction was achieved by fabric manipulation – no wires were used at all. Astonishing.

Trend to look forward to… Tailoring, for sure. And capes.

The must-packs… My Victoria Beckham trousers and polo neck. And Bioeffect EGF Serum – it’s a serious skin saver.

Stacey Duguid, Fashion Editorial Director

No.1 show… Prada – tough elegance personified. I loved the big boots and pretty dresses.

The need-to-know… Bye bye trainers, hello tiny "where’s my driver?" bags.

Wore on repeat… Bright red Jimmy Choos and a micro bag!

Katie Service, Beauty Editorial Director

Beauty trend to look forward to… I'll be rediscovering the power of a smokey eye with the help of a great black pencil and a dark bronze eyeshadow.

Pinch-me moment… Seeing the beautiful gowns and tuxedos as they exited from backstage at Andrew Gn. The runway started with some steep steps, so there were a series of 'garçons' who were helping the models down the stairs in their 4-inch heels!

The must-packs… Colbert MD Illumino sheet masks (incredible after a flight) and my Rahua shampoo and conditioner.
