London calling! Hot on the heels of NYFW, the best of British fashion is next for the SS20 spotlight. "Creativity. Innovation. The most amazing new talent. It could only be London Fashion Week!" says Stacey Duguid, Fashion Editorial Director. Hold tight: these are the runways that we’re getting excited about.

Who: Rejina Pyo
What: Elegance via a playful lens.
Why: Rejina Pyo is a woman’s woman. With her voluminous silhouettes – so poetic and whimsical, cosy granddad knits and tongue-in-chic prints, the South Korean designer champions the act of dressing for oneself. Pyo’s is a fashionably fine line between minimalism and maximalism. Smart money says her star remains well and truly on the rise.
Where To Wear: Your *ehem* 21st birthday party – and all that follow. This look is the gift that keeps on giving.
What: The new and the noteworthy.
Why: In a sophomore runway titled 'Tempest', Riccardo Tisci unleashed his second collection for Burberry – a provocative maelstrom of grungy '90s streetwear juxtaposed with tailoring at its most ladylike. Impactful and dynamic, it was everything one might expect from the heritage brand’s next-gen look. As for the accessories? Catch them while you can.
Where To Wear: At the edgiest Michelin star in town. You’re serving one seriously chic platter.
What: Culture meets couture.
Why: Roksanda Ilinčic finds inspiration where others can’t. Modernist architecture, towering sculptures; it’s all fair game for the Serbian tastemaker. Life imitated art on her AW19 runway – where a series of imposing Troika installations played the backdrop to Roksanda’s roster of shapely silhouettes and painterly colour combinations. Stay tuned for something spectacular.
Where To Wear: Your next Sotheby’s auction. Don’t be surprised if bidders grapple for your dress instead of the Georgia O’Keeffe.
What: Styles to make you smile.
Why: Fashion is a serious business. But for Hannah Weiland of Shrimps, it also spells F-U-N. Like children in a sweet shop, we clamoured for the candy-coloured faux furs and bonbon-bright embellishments of AW19. Weiland's debut LFW runway was attended by the who's who of London's social scene – and we'd wager on her next collection being as sweet as pie.
Where To Wear: Autumnal strolls around Hampstead village. Come for the walk, stay for the mulled wine.
Who: Victoria Beckham
What: A wardrobe that works as hard as you do.
Why: "She’s proper, but she’s not prim" observed Victoria Beckham of her AW19 woman. No-one epitomises this more than Beckham herself. Time and again, the designer’s runway mantras have proved self-fulfilling prophecies; with her every collection, Beckham capitalises on first-hand knowledge of what cosmopolitan women really want from their everyday wardrobes.
Where To Wear: Monday’s board meeting. The Chief Financial Officer compliments your jacket; expect a promotion imminently.
