"An evening gown is a purely feminine garment that inspires desire and is, at its best, memorable. We all want to be desired and remembered, don't we?"
Founded in 1988 with eveningwear at the heart of the brand, Jenny Packham used her gown magic to expand out into bridalwear. Counting the A-list, including Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, Kate Hudson, not to mention the Duchess of Cambridge, as fans, it's little wonder that she is the go-to designer for iconic gowns.
"I have been lucky enough to dress some of the most talented and iconic women of our generation."
From fluid silk and sequined column gowns to billowing ball gown skirts paired with cropped tees and sweaters, Jenny Packham is known for her unique and contemporary take on the art of gown styling.
Dreaming up her stunning collections each season, the designer explains: "To find inspiration and then delve into the subject is one of my greatest pleasures. Previously Marilyn Monroe was our muse and inspiration. The journey and process was as captivating as Marilyn and took me from her bungalow in Beverly Hills to holding her Some Like It Hot dress in my very hands. We have designed collections inspired by the wings of a moth, cult movies, Spanish painters and even a Shakespearean play."
With exquisite workmanship, meticulous attention to detail, plus an innate sense of the construction of the perfect fit, no eveningwear wardrobe should be without a Jenny Packham gown or two.
