"The Autumn/Winter 2016 collection examines pixilation and colour: the building blocks of digital design," read the Anya Hindmarch show notes, as a set made up of 'pixels' began to light up and move to a backing track spliced with arcade game sound effects. The collection itself saw favourite handbags – the Ebury, the Bathurst – joined by new shapes, all boasting digital detailing, from all-over pixilation to miniature Pac-Man clasp fastenings.
"Do computers dream when they sleep?" Anya asked. If they do, we’d bet Anya’s handbags make an appearance – they do in ours.
