Anya Hindmarch's Autumn/Winter 2017 show took us on an alpine getaway, with the runway transformed into a set that mimicked snow-capped mountains. Weaved into the winter wonderland theme, kurbits – a type of Swedish traditional folk art, bright and bold in form and colour – emblazoned the pockets and collars of outerwear and the backs of capes, and Fair Isle sweaters accompanied shorter-than-short knickerbockers, while fur stoles adorned necks and various points of the torso.

The fur didn't end there though; it appeared as lining or the main event on coats, in shoe soles and as sandal decoration, too. Speaking of shoes, for AW17, the Anya girl is wearing flat, buckled sandals, furry-monster sliders and Scandi-perfect clogs – all with pulled-up, greige grandpa socks. The designer's speciality – hello bags – appeared as updated modular styles, fur-adorned with leather paper-chain straps, and all supremely autumnal in colour.
