Roberto Cavalli SS16

Peter Dundas made his debut at Roberto Cavalli with a collection that stayed true to the house's DNA; distressed denim, high hemlines and animal prints aplenty all featured heavily in the line-up. Here, there was no concept of day-to-night but rather a free-flowing mix of garments that saw ball skirts with billowing silk trains paired with off-the-shoulder sweatshirts and embellished white-wash jeans with bustier tops. Delicate chiffon dresses fell in cascades of ruffles contrasting with other more bodycon looks, while prints either featured tiger stripes, camouflage or the mythological creature Pegasus (a symbol of freedom).
