If there’s one thing that Milly’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection will make you want to do, it’s go on holiday. In a sea of whiter-than-white, ocean hues of green, blue and turquoise made their way down the runway along with shots of sunshine orange, lustrous peach and just the right amount of black. Geometric shapes decorated day dresses and separates, while stripes ran up, down and across maxi dresses and more.
When dresses weren’t off-the-shoulder, halter straps rested delightfully on collarbones, both making the décolleté next season’s flesh to flash. Most alluring were the twin sets; standouts included a black and white tropical leaf print on a cropped halter top paired with a slit-to-the-thigh maxi skirt, or deep V-cut top boasting jumbo-flared sleeves teamed with a pencil skirt – both in fresh white lace. Combined with single-strap heels, tied-back hair and natural make-up, it was a range made in holiday heaven.
