The Art of the Virtuoso

Harrods is shining a light on the extraordinary people shaping modern craft across its many forms. These virtuosos have taken their talents to the heights of the artist, channelling their métier as the ultimate form of self-expression. This cultural exchange of knowledge is why craft now matters to the luxury customer; it’s paramount to their experience. Join us in celebrating the creativity and collaboration that is inspiring the luxury industry.

The Makers & Creators

A showcase of the brands, artisans and innovators who champion traditional craftsmanship and set the bar for modern design, discover our gallery of virtuosos as we celebrate the makers and creators.

Harrods x NOWNESS: Come Together

To celebrate the launch of Men’s Superbrands and the ongoing reimagining of menswear at Harrods, we've partnered with NOWNESS to create 'Come Together', a film directed by Campbell Addy that champions self-expression, dance and movement, while exploring authenticity and the style tribes of today.

The Craft Of Man

Whoever you are, however you identify, there has never been such an exciting time to be getting dressed. But with so many options, where do you begin? Consider who you are, what you love and how you feel. Consider, too, who you want to be – for this is what we are here to celebrate. For The Craft of Man, Tom Stubbs, Stacey Duguid and Teo van den Broeke have each selected a type whom they think this season best describes.

A Stage For Skill

Harrods is committed to nurturing and promoting creativity. As such, we're pleased to announce the launch of a bursary scheme with the Royal Drawing School, available to students applying for this coming academic year. The bursary will fund two students’ tuition for the duration of The Drawing Year postgraduate course, as well as supporting the provision of studio space.

Craft In Action

  • The Perfumer's Craft

Notes are no longer reserved for just one gender. There's a recurring theme among a number of new fragrances: they're 'genderless'. Be this thanks to a cultural shift, buying habits or a focus on the craft of fragrance, for perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, it’s extremely welcome.
