The ultra-exclusive Bowmore ARC-52 single malt, the distillery’s latest collaboration with Aston Martin sees one of its oldest ever whiskies in a decanter that pushes the limits of bottle design.
United in a quest for innovation, the British brands used the concept of balance to define every aspect of ARC-52 – from its perfectly balanced nose to its unique vessel floating on two points. Limited to 100 bottles, it's available in-store and via our remote Personal Shopping service.

Bowmore and Aston Martin called on the exacting principles of 3D printing and hand-crafted clay modelling to realise ARC-52’s organic form. Focusing on balance, the hand-blown glass decanter effectively balances on two points, making it seem almost weightless while the meticulously engineered magnetic key smoothly releases the aluminium top.

Matured for a remarkable 52 years in a marriage of two cask styles, an American oak hogshead and a European oak butt, the whisky is surprisingly vibrant and fresh – a testament to the distillery’s masterful skill. Perfectly balanced, the nose reveals creamy and fruity aromas complemented by fresh mint, a note reserved for the finest whiskies. On the palate, green grapes and clementine merge with Bowmore’s signature subtle ash peat, developing with medicinal notes and exotic fruits fading into butterscotch.
