Product Recalls

We aim to ensure the highest standard of quality for all products sold within our store. However, on occasion, manufacturing problems or other issues with products may occur or be brought to our attention. The safety of our customers is our highest priority and we may therefore voluntarily choose to undertake a full product recall of such products as a precautionary measure. If you have purchased products from Harrods that are listed below, we advise you to stop using them. Please return them as soon as possible to our Knightsbridge store, where a full refund will be issued. If this is not possible, please contact our Customer Service team to discuss alternative arrangements.

Reason for Recall
It has come to our attention, regrettably, that these products with best-before dates of 1st March 2020 and 15th April 2020 do not feature the relevant allergen declaration on the label: egg and nuts (hazelnuts). These products are being recalled by the product manufacturer and have been withdrawn from sale by Harrods.

These products contain egg and nuts (hazelnuts), which makes them a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg, or an allergy to nuts (hazelnuts).

The product manufacturer has reported this to the Food Standards Agency and has contacted relevant allergy-support organisations about this recall. If customers have an intolerance or allergy to the above allergens, we ask that they dispose of the products as opposed to returning them.
