Sirocco is passionate about providing its international clientele with the world’s best tea and coffee. The founder, Alfons Kuster, first opened his roasting plant at the upper end of Lake Zurich in 1908 with a primary focus on ingredients, taste and attention to detail. The brand quickly established a reputation for outstanding quality coffee and, in 2009, decided to do the same for tea by introducing an organic collection. Its now vast range of teas are made using top-quality leaves from the world’s best-known gardens, with organically grown raw materials utilised wherever possible. It has an eye on sustainability too; a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership, all of Sirocco’s handcrafted tea bags are made from biodegradable materials.
