After petitioning to Parliament for aid to establish the manufacture of flint glass in their house, Waterford were successful and begun their company in Ireland, 1783, as an extensive glass manufactory. The following year, production was in full swing and they had a number of the best craftsmen, blowers, cutters and engravers on the team. Renowned for exquisite crystal glassware with installations in Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle and the Kennedy Centre, to name a few, Waterford excel in producing the finest chandeliers, tableware and home décor that’s sought after by collectors and connoisseurs around the world.
