Balenciaga’s Autumn/Winter 2023 campaign takes place where all great fashion decisions are made: the changing room. Captured via the medium of the zeitgeist – the selfie – it sees the label continue to eschew expectations with enlarged proportions and playful materiality; signatures such as the BB bag, Anatomic shoe and Defender sneakers are reimagined in new textures while voluminous tailoring and fluid silhouettes spotlight the label’s couture history.

Soft yet structured, the Crush bag by Balenciaga sees the House continue to push sartorial bounds, finding comfort in the space between structural binaries. It’s created to the same half-moon silhouette as its iconic predecessor – the Hourglass – while its collapsible design emphasises tactility, spotlighting the instantly recognisable ‘B’ hardware that proudly points to its origin.
