In lieu of the usual runway spectacular, Balenciaga presented its SS21 collection via a dark, slightly foreboding music video. Silhouettes were long, tailoring was sharp, and Demna Gvasalia’s palette was overwhelmingly black and navy, barring the occasional shock of scarlet and flecks of acid-neon hues.
