Fear of God finds inspiration in religious iconography, fusing a distinct streetwear influence with ‘90s grunge. Based in LA, founder Jerry Lorenzo believes clothing should be layered for a comfortable, lived-in aesthetic, which is furthered with his use of spectacularly soft fabrics. Exemplary of the creative director’s background in sport, it comes as no surprise that athleisure lies at the heart of the ready-to-wear collection, with the likes of David Beckham, Kanye West and Justin Bieber favouring the label’s vintage band tees, bomber jackets and jeans.
