Burberry AW22: Embodying Britishness
For Burberry’s triumphant return to the runway, chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci set out to accomplish what the brand does best: a celebration of all things British. “The collection embodies an intangible essence that is Britishness, a unique fusion of honouring the beauty of the past, whilst also remaining focussed on the future,” describes Tisci of the check- and trench-clad looks that filed down the runway last March.

House Signatures
Few brands have such an unmistakable visual identity as Burberry – nor one so inextricably embedded in the essence of Britishness. Tisci put the house’s iconic signatures to good use across Autumn/Winter 2022, from crystalised Equestrian Knight Design emblems and the archive-inspired oak leaf crest to autumnal checks and, of course, a strong offering of outerwear.
