Soft yet structured, the Crush bag by Balenciaga sees the House continue to push sartorial bounds, finding comfort in the space between structural binaries. It’s created to the same half-moon silhouette as its iconic predecessor – the Hourglass – while its collapsible design emphasises tactility, spotlighting the instantly recognisable ‘B’ hardware that proudly points to its origin.
Take one look at the footwear of Balenciaga’s Autumn/Winter 2023 collection and you’ll spot one common denominator: architectural silhouettes. It’s all thanks to the aptly named Witch boots, which spotlight pointed toes and an exaggerated counter set atop a gravity-defying stiletto heel.
