Specialising in fur and leather since 1925, Fendi continues to pay close attention to the hand-picked fabrics that make it into its collections. Presenting a contemporary facade, under Karl Lagerfeld’s Creative Direction, Fendi menswear takes its cues from refined tailoring with a nod to clean, minimalist sportswear to create shirts, shorts, sweaters and sweatpants that incorporate fun, novelty details.

The Baguette Bag
Since its launch in 1997, the Fendi Baguette bag has been reworked into more than 1,000 iterations. The style – designed to be tucked tightly under the arm like the French loaf it was named after – is set to be exhibited at the V&A museum in April 2020. It’s achieved cult status, thanks to a little help from Sex and the City, and if it’s good enough for Carrie Bradshaw, it’s good enough for us.

The Making Of An Icon
Rumour has it, Fendi's legendary FF logo took the late, great Karl Lagerfeld less than five seconds to design – a few fleeting moments that, ultimately, would make history. Initially appearing as the monogrammed lining of travel trunks, the recognisable FF is now stamped across collectable accessories and bold monochrome skiwear, adorning handbags and footwear as iconic insignia.

Mini-Me Must-Haves
Playful motifs, colourful T-shirts, FF-monogrammed accessories... Fendi’s childrenswear wraps over 90 years of design history into the smallest of silhouettes. Echoing the mainline menswear and womenswear signatures, quirky accents – from pom-poms to printed ribbons and frills – bring the catwalk to the playground.
