The nearest tube station to Harrods is Knightsbridge on the Piccadilly line. Use the Brompton Road exit for Harrods.
South Kensington station, on the Piccadilly, District and Circle lines, and Sloane Square, on the District and Circle lines, are just a short walk from the store.

1. We want Harrods to be a safe and secure environment.
- - To ensure our customers’ safety, bags, luggage and parcels are not allowed in-store. We provide a Left Luggage service at Door 2a on the Ground Floor.
- - For the comfort of our customers, the smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes and other products that produce vapour or smoke is not permitted.
- - CCTV is used throughout the store. We comply with all local laws in relation to our use of CCTV.
- - For your safety, please refrain from running.
- - In the interest of security, customers may be subject to search upon entering or leaving the store.
- - Certain items are not permitted in-store. These include:
– Wheeled devices, except those that help customers with mobility issues.
– Alcoholic beverages and illegal substances.
– To ensure our customers’ safety, animals are not allowed in-store, with the exception of Assistance Dogs and Guide Dogs certified by an organisation that is a full member of Assistance Dogs International (ADI) or International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF).
2. We want every customer to feel welcome and enjoy their visit to Harrods.
- - Please show courtesy to fellow customers and staff by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behaviour.
- - Proper attire, including tops and shirts, must be worn at all times. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone wearing attire that we consider inappropriate. Visible tattoos and clothing that contain objectionable language or designs are not permitted.
3. We want to provide a pleasant and luxurious shopping experience.
- - Children must be supervised. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
- - Visitors are welcome to take photographs at Harrods, to remember their visit. However, for security purposes, there are some departments in which photography is not permitted, such as The Fine Jewellery Room. Please ask a member of staff if you are unsure about photographing an area of the store. Requests for business-related photography should be directed to the Corporate Affairs office.
Harrods reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who breaches store policy.

- Returns Policy
What is Harrods store returns policy?
In addition to your statutory rights, Harrods is pleased to offer the following additional rights of return:
Unwanted goods may be returned for a refund or exchange if returned unused and in their original condition
within 14 days with proof of purchase subject to the restrictions and exclusions below.
Refunds will be provided against the original form of tender, except for the following which will be refunded
by way of shopping credit; jewellery, watches, sale items, special orders and any goods purchased using a
Union Pay card.
Refunds and exchanges on purchases made on an event day will be calculated at the reduced price.
Refunds and exchanges will not be permitted on sale purchases after the last day of the applicable sale.
Where a complimentary gift has been issued with a purchase, the gift must also be returned.
The following items may not be returned: any bespoke or altered goods, any limited edition items, any
perishable goods (including food and beverages), all beauty products (including toiletries, cosmetics,
fragrances), certain accessories (hosiery, millinery, scarves, pierced earrings, hair accessories), certain apparel
(eveningwear, underwear, nightwear, swimwear), certain homewares (beds, bedding, purchases from the
Halcyon Gallery), fur items, pharmaceutical products, newspapers and magazines, and any other items
designated as non-refundable at the time of purchase.
In addition, specific terms and conditions apply to furniture and certain other special order items.

- Large Bags, Rucksacks and Left Luggage
Are large baggage items and rucksacks allowed in Harrods?
Large baggage and rucksacks must be left at our Left Luggage service (see below). The only exception to this policy is small rucksacks provided they are carried by hand or on your front rather than on the back or shoulder. This is both to prevent damage to displays and for the comfort of all our customers. The Left Luggage facility (see below) is located at Door 2A to the rear of Harrods on Basil Street.
Where can I leave large baggage items and rucksacks while I shop in Harrods?
Harrods provides a Left Luggage facility for suitcases, bags on wheels, scooters, oversized bags or rucksacks. This is located at Door 2A to the rear of Harrods on Basil Street. The service is complimentary to Green Tier 1, or higher, Harrods Rewards members, and costs £25.00 per item for all other customers.
For each £25.00 paid per item, customers will receive a £25.00 voucher. Each £25.00 voucher may be redeemed against a single transaction of £50.00 or more in-store that day. Complimentary storage of coats and umbrellas is available upon checking in any other item.

What disabled facilities are available at Harrods?
Harrods is easily accessible to wheelchair users via any of the front doors along Brompton Road or at Door 3, located at the rear of the store in Basil Street. Alternatively, Door 5 on Hans Crescent is also a convenient entry point and there are lifts for access to the upper floors nearby. The ground level is flat and there are security personnel at all the doors who would be pleased to assist with entry. Kensington and Chelsea Council provide parking spaces for disabled permit-holders in Basil Street.
In addition, we provide the facility to pre book the use of a manual wheelchair. This can be done by telephoning +44 20 7730 1234. Photo identification e.g. passport or valid driving licence, will be required to be shown prior to receiving a Harrods wheelchair.

Where can I buy a Harrods Gift Card?
Harrods Gift Cards can be purchased in-store at any till point. For amounts over £1,000, please visit Customer Loyalty on the Second or Third Floor.
Harrods Gift Cards can also be purchased by telephone on +44 20 7730 1234, ext. 6505. Alternatively, they can be ordered online at harrods.com. Simply select the denomination required and place it in your shopping basket. Once you have finished selecting your items, simply click on the shopping basket icon at the top of the screen and then proceed through the checkout, following the step-by-step instructions as you go.
Harrods Gift Cards will expire after 24 consecutive months of non-use. After this date you can obtain a replacement card for the remaining value by visiting our Knightsbridge store and returning the old Harrods Gift Card.
Where can I spend a Harrods Gift Card?
Harrods Gift Cards can be spent in our Knightsbridge store and online. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed at any of Harrods airport locations.
How do I receive my tax refund?
Please visit the Tax Free Bureau on the Second Floor to claim back the Value Added Tax (VAT) from your purchases. You will need to bring your receipts along with your identification (i.e. driving license, passport), and your VAT form will be issued from here.
Please note that to qualify for a refund, you must be a non-EU resident, make a minimum purchase of £50 (excluding food, books, children’s clothing and services) and take your purchases out of the EU within 3 months from the month of purchase.
The VAT rate in the UK is 20% (16.67% of the purchase price). Your refund amount is the VAT less an administration fee.
There are different ways that you can receive your refund depending on the amount of VAT that you are reclaiming.
Refunds under £2,958.30
If your net refund amount is less than £2,958.30, you can receive an immediate cash refund in the store from the Money Exchange on the Second Floor. In order to do this, you will need to:
- return your VAT form, certified by Customs, to our tax free services partner Global Blue within 21 days of the form being issued; and
- provide your credit card details in your name as a guarantee that the form will be returned to Global Blue.
If the form is not returned within this period, a charge of the refund amount, plus a debit fee of 15% of the refund amount, will be applied to your card.
An additional £3.50 handling fee will be deducted from your cash refund if this service is selected.
Refunds over £2,958.30
If your net refund amount is more than £2,958.30 you can receive the refund by one of the following options:
- a cash refund at Heathrow and Gatwick airports
- an immediate refund to a credit card at Heathrow and Gatwick airports
(the refund will be processed within 5 days)
- a refund to a credit card or Alipay account if you are leaving from any other EU airport
(the refund will be processed within 3 to 4 weeks)
- a refund by bank cheque to a chosen address*
*Once Global Blue has received your VAT form by post, the refund will be made. This can take between 3 to 4 weeks.
You must show your purchases, receipts and passport to Customs officials and have your VAT form(s) stamped. The stamped VAT form(s) must then be sent back to Global Blue in the pre-paid envelope provided by Harrods.

Harrods aims to ensure the highest standards of quality and production are upheld for all merchandise sold within our store. However, we regret to advise that we have identified a potential manufacturing problem with the above products manufactured under batch number 30861504. In summary, the fastening for the plastic heart–shaped badge on some of these toys is insufficiently robust and it is possible that this could come loose, potentially creating a choking hazard. We wish to emphasise that this potential problem is restricted to the aforementioned single batch (which can be identified on the label located behind the main Harrods label).
Although no injuries or incidents have been notified to us, the safety of our customers is our top priority and, accordingly we are voluntarily undertaking a full product recall of all the products from this batch code as a precautionary measure.
We advise you to stop using this product immediately and would ask that you return it to the Harrods Knightsbridge store as soon as possible, whereupon a full refund will be given. Alternatively, if that is not feasible, we would ask you please to destroy the item and then contact our Customer Loyalty team on +44 (0)20 3626 7111 or via email firstname.lastname@example.org, in order to claim a full refund.
The following Spymaster products are being recalled by Harrods:

Harrods aims to ensure the highest standards of quality and production are upheld for all merchandise sold within our store. However, Harrods regrets to advise that it has identified potential problems with the above hoverboard products sold from the Spymaster department. This issue affects the Spymaster Gold E-Board, Bluetooth Lambo E-Board, Lambo E-Board and Graffiti E-Board, as listed above. It has come to our attention that these products may not fully comply with British Standards and may pose safety risks.
Whilst no problems have been reported in respect of Spymaster hoverboard products purchased from Harrods, we have taken the decision to recall the products above as a precautionary measure.
Harrods advises customers who have purchased any of these products to stop using them immediately and return them to the Harrods Knightsbridge store as soon as possible so that we can arrange for their safe disposal and provide a full refund. If a customer is unable to return an above hoverboard in-store, we ask that they contact us to discuss alternative arrangements.

Harrods aims to ensure the highest standards of quality and production are upheld for all merchandise sold within our store. However, Harrods regrets to advise that it has identified potential manufacturing problems with the above Air Runner products. This issue affects the Air Runner (Black) and Air Runner (White), as listed above. It has come to our attention that these products contain a non-compliant mains plug and charger which presents a risk of overheating, electrocution and/or fire.
Whilst no injuries have been reported in respect of Air Runner products purchased from Harrods, we have become aware of injuries reported in respect of units sold by other retailers. As the safety of our customers is our top priority, we are voluntarily undertaking a full product recall of all Air Runner products pending a full investigation.
Harrods advises customers who have purchased any of these products to stop using them immediately and return them to the Harrods Knightsbridge store as soon as possible so that we can arrange for safe disposal of the Lithium Ion battery and provide a full refund. If customers are unable to return their Air Runner in-store, we ask that they contact us to discuss alternative arrangements.
In the event that any customer purchased one of these products as a Christmas present, we would be pleased to connect them with our Toy Concierge who can help them find an alternative Christmas gift.

In the Styling Iron Products, there is a possibility the plug adaptor may separate exposing the internal wiring, presenting a potential risk of electric shock. The Hairdryer is being recalled as a precautionary measure.
