Harrods’ Festival of Fun

Whether taking in a music extravaganza at home or away this summer, get a head start on your festival fever at Harrods this weekend.
On Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July 2012, Harrods’ Way In, Designer Studio and Men’s Denim Lab departments are taking on the festival season in style with a host of themed events.
Not only can you pick up all your festival essentials in-store, including boho dresses from Minkpink, graphic tees from Wildfox and sharp shorts from Marc by Marc Jacobs, but you can also get your hands on a limited-edition festival CD, featuring hits from bands such as The Temper Trap and Local Natives and a bespoke cover created by artist Sandrine Pagnoux.
What’s more, the weekend will also feature appearances from celebrity DJs, exclusive beauty events and festival-themed photoshoots.
Saturday 21st July
12pm – 4pm: Minkpink will be hosting nail technicians from WAH Nails for complimentary manicures with every purchase from the brand.
1pm – 4pm: Faith Connexion will be serving bespoke cupcakes and sunglasses brand Ray-Ban will be creating their very own record store pop-up where customers can request their favourite tracks.
4pm – 6pm: Spanish DJ, blogger and model Gala Gonzalez will be spinning the best tracks in the Theory boutique, Designer Studio.
All day: beauty brand Eylure will be launching their new Hed Kandi and Katy Perry eyelash ranges, offering complimentary application with every purchase. J Brand will be bringing a complimentary photobooth to Way In enabling customers to snap themselves in their favourite denims.
Sunday 22nd July
1pm – 4pm: Denim brand Diesel will be serving beers and hosting in-demand DJ Crispin Dior in Men’s Denim Lab to play the latest party tracks.
5.30pm – 8pm: Channel 4’s T4 presenter and fashionista Jameela Jamil will play an exclusive DJ set for accessories label Folli Follie.
All day: American denim brand True Religion will host up a festival-themed photoshoot for customers, while a complimentary instant photobooth from Marc by Marc Jacobs will give customers the chance to practise their best festival poses.
