Each month, Harrods Wine Shop hosts an exciting line-up of wine and spirits tasting events. With experts on hand to offer information and advice, plus gourmet canapés, this is perhaps the most enjoyable way to expand your oenological knowledge.

In order to make your experience more enjoyable, please let us know in advance if you will be attending with anyone who suffers from reduced mobility so that we can accommodate them accordingly.
UPCOMING 2013 LISTINGS...
One Day Introductory Wine Course
Date & Time: Saturday 25th May, 10:00am-6:00pm.
Venue: The Tasting Room.
Tickets are £250 per person.
By the end of this course you will have a real taste for wine production techniques, styles, regions and food and wine pairings. Plus an increased confidence when it comes to purchasing wines and ordering from a restaurant menu. Usually covered over three separate sessions, we have combined the class into one day for your convenience. A beautifully prepared lunch will be provided by our Harrods Chefs and the day will conclude with a light food-and-wine-matching dinner.
Buyer's Choice Tasting
Date & Time: Thursday 13th June, 7:00pm-9:00pm.
Venue: The Wine Shop.
Standard tickets are £50 per person.
Premium tickets are £150 per person.
A new feature in our events calendar this year – with over 30 wines and spirits from our Summer Sale – this is a fantastic opportunity to sample different vintages from all over the world. Plus, the newly introduced Premium Ticket option provides access to some really special wines including Haut Brion Pessac Leognan 2003, Bollinger R.D. 1996 and Château Mouton Rothschild 1995.
Torbreck Wine Dinner with Winemaker Dave Powell
Date & Time: Wednesday 19th June, 7.00pm to 10.30pm.
Venue: The Tasting Room.
Tickets are £150 per person.
Join us for a very special evening with the highly talented and passionate Dave Powell, Managing Director and Chief Winemaker for the Torbreck Estate in Barossa, Australia. A rare chance to enjoy an array of world class wines from the remarkable Torbreck portfolio, introduced by their maker. Wines will be served alongside a beautifully paired dinner. Receive an extra 10% off featured wines on the evening.
South American Tasting
Date & Time: Thursday 25th July, 7:00pm-9:00pm.
Venue: The Wine Shop.
Tickets are £40 per person.
Home to diverse landscapes and microclimates, South American countries allow winemakers the freedom to plant a spectacular range of vines and produce some stunning wines with distinctive flavours and food pairing capabilities. For this tasting we have gathered a varied selection of the best wines these countries have to offer. All promotional wines will have an extra 10% off on the night.
