Harrods is to stage a unique confectionary showcase to mark the
imminent marriage between Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
From Tuesday 26th until Saturday 30th April 2011, each of the
store's iconic Brompton Road windows will house one of the 17
magnificent cakes created by big-name designers.
The metre-high designs are each individually styled by esteemed
designers from the worlds of fashion, beauty, fine jewellery, food
and interiors, such as Ladurée, Wedgwood, Estée Lauder and Jo
Malone. Each designer has been specially invited by Harrods to
present their take on the royal nuptials.
