Introducing Ollie Dabbous

Head to the Harrods Food Halls this summer and prepare to have your taste buds tickled by culinary delights created by none other than Ollie Dabbous, for the Michelin star chef has been announced Harrods’ Chef of the Season.

The founder of Fitzrovia’s celebrated Dabbous, and with over a decade in leading fine dining restaurants, Ollie is renowned for his innovative take on modern European cuisine and a deceptively simple approach to big flavours. How does that translate into dishes-to-go within the Harrods Food Halls? “The dishes I’ve created for Harrods are stylistically aligned with my restaurant, but with a bit more comfort and accessibility,” he explains. “It’s summer, so I’ve gone for a mix of cold foods, salads and baked goods with a simple, light feel where you can taste all the ingredients.”

Think cured goose with fenugreek or cod wrapped in wood shavings, turnip and kinome for mains, Canales cooked in beeswax for pudding, and Dabbous’ signature Verbena lemonade to drink.

Ollie Dabbous’ exclusive range will be presented in a dedicated area within the traiteur counter of the Food Halls from Monday 11th May 2015 for eight weeks.
