Acqua della Regina – the Queen’s Water – is Santa Maria Novella’s oldest fragrance. Originally commissioned in 1533 to celebrate the wedding of Florence’s Caterina de’ Medici, it mingles Italian citrus fruits, neroli and the heady scent of lavender with a softening musk base. This lotion is made using vegetable oils and butters to promote irresistible softness, while lemon pulp extract purifies.
