One of Elsa Schiaparelli’s most famous designs from her 1920s fashion house is the lobster dress, a design inspired by the Surrealist work of her friend, Salvador Dalí. Current Artistic Director Daniel Roseberry reinvents the striking lobster’s tail season after season, and for Autumn/Winter 2026, he uses well-placed satin ruching to create a trompe-l'oeil effect that wraps around this asymmetric midi skirt, subtly mirroring the lobster tail’s silhouette.
