Born out of the client’s frustration with limited space, a complete reconfiguration of the interior architecture of the second floor was at the heart of the redesign of this property in Putney.

The three rooms and the bathroom were stripped out and replaced with two beautiful bedrooms, two bathrooms and a walk-in wardrobe, vastly increasing the functionality of the space. The floor was further enhanced by the addition of various multifunctional bespoke pieces.

Inspired by the client’s favourite aspect of the home – the view over Putney Heath from her bedroom window – the interior styling took its cues from the seasons. Notice the crisp blues, tropical prints and textural linens in the master bedroom, reminiscent of summers abroad, while the soft greens and fresh neutrals in the second room represent the first flowers of spring.

The colour palettes are deliberately subtle, sticking with the nature theme, and are supported through the use of natural materials.
