The El Mono de la Tinta perfume, which translates from Spanish to ‘The Ink Monkey’, is inspired by Argentine short-story writer, essayist and poet Jorge Luis Borges and his *Book of Imaginary Beings,*one of which features a small creature that sits by writers and drinks their leftover ink.
