The new Solidarity Edition fountain pen for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has been designed by Marco Colasanti, the Foundation’s president, to support the charity’s efforts to limit climate change. Sculpted brass represents some of nature’s most endangered animals, while sterling silver vermeil, topaz and an 18-karat gold nib bring the urgent design to life. As a final flourish, the engraved motto of Monaco, Deo Juvante – ‘with the help of God’ – cements this as an heirloom piece.
