Founded by Englishman Thomas Hall, Gien was established in 1821 when he took over the former Couvent des Minimes in Paris. There, he introduced industrial techniques to French aesthetics, creating the perfect blend of craftsmanship and innovation. Designed as symbols of good luck and fortune, the Jour de Chance centrepieces are crafted from ceramic with a vibrant enamel glaze.
