Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Champagne Rosé 2015 (75cl)

Veuve Clicquot’s La Grande Dame Rosé has been blended in honour of its founder Madame Clicquot, otherwise known as la grande dame de la Champagne. It takes two of her most notable innovations – the first vintage Champagne from 1810 and the creation of the first blended Champagne Rosé in 1818 – and combines them using a mix of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, with a selection hailing from the historical Clos Colin. With a nose of violet and rose muddled with berries, citrus fruit, wood and spices, this versatile tipple is perfect for serving alongside the season’s produce and dishes that take a playfully gourmet attitude to flavour.
