Hailing from vineyards on the north-westerly slopes of the Helderberg mountains, Boekenhoutskloof’s Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon is a red wine whose character is formed by the range’s granite and sandstone terrain. On the nose, this comes through in the graphite notes that mingle with blackcurrant, dark cherry and spice, while its palate is one of exquisite structure and supple tannins with a charcoal-edged texture.
