Clinique Blushing Blush Powder Blush

I purchased this blusher in Aglow on the recommendation of the sales assistant at the Clinique counter. The colour is perfect for my colouring and lasts well.

I used this in aglow as I thought it would look good with the tan I had from my autumn holiday and I was so impressed. I'm usually quite natural and matt with my blusher but this had a bit more intensity and a shimmer which I loved. I normally avoid shimmer but this really sculpted my cheekbones and gave a beautiful highlight. If it's possible to say a blusher made you feel sexy, this one did! I loved how this shade sculpted, giving a much edgier look than pinky peaches. The brush is decent too and gives that definition but you can blend out for a softer look with a bigger brush if you want to. If you want defined cheekbones with a glorious highlight, this is the one.

I've used this blush for years in precious posy. It's very subtle but at the same time makes my cheeks glow. It's a makeup bag essential.

I have pale combinataion skin that is starting to show the first signs of ageing and this blusher has been my saviour for about a year now. It builds beautifully and without the dreaded cake effect that some powder blush can give me...and I love that it lasts for hours and hours before I need to reapply! I use the Precious shade and it really gives a healthy glow and polished definition in just one quick sweep over each cheek. I add an extra layer for the evening or if I need a bit of perking up. The brush is shaped well and it's a good sized compact (with mirror) for even a tiny evening handbag - which is good because I can't go anywhere without mine.

I got this blusher as a sample and I have gone back to store to buy it. The colour looks natural and looks really healthy on, it lasts all day without fading and best of all does not leave a weird glittery mask all over your skin. This will be a main staple in my makeup bag from now on.
