Panthere De Cartier Bracelets
While Cartier’s iconic Panthère line may have begun with a watch, the feline-inspired design has since expanded to encompass everything from rings and earrings to necklaces and, as an essential stacking piece, Panthère bracelets. The vision behind the collection’s bangles and diamond bracelets dates back to 1913 when Louis Cartier commissioned George Barbier to illustrate an exhibition invitation featuring a magnetic panther seated at a woman’s feet. Today, the enigmatic cat is often reimagined face to face with its mirror image, wrapping around the wrist with a second-skin effect and cast in yellow, rose or white gold.
