Maison Margiela
Founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela and based in Paris, Maison Margiela exemplifies the purest devotion to design, crafting a veil of enigma best interpreted through its famed numerical system. Under the creative direction of Glenn Martens, the maison continues to reinterpret heritage through a modern lens, creating a dialogue between past and present, while remaining rooted in nonconformity and conceptual design. This approach extends across the house’s various lines, from Line 0 Artisanal, its haute-couture expression, to the Co-Ed ready-to-wear collection, as well as Line 3, dedicated to the sensorial world of Replica fragrances and candles. Maison Margiela explores creativity rooted in authenticity, community and self-expression, and its collections emphasise individuality with iconic designs such as the Tabi – a split-toe silhouette seen throughout boots, trainers and dress shoes.
