Have fun with Fornasetti.
With the Cortile chess set, Fornasetti’s penchant for surrealism and visual illusion is manifested in a depiction of an Italianate villa. Note the authentic barrel clay tiles and architectural archways, for example, and the use of light and shade to give the impression of the sun casting shadows in the courtyard. The artwork entices you to open the box and reveal all the pieces required for a thrilling games night.
