Since the launch of the original Gem Rooms in 1911, Harrods has played host to the very best edit from the world’s leading fine jewellery brands, from Cartier and Bvlgari to De Beers, Boodles, Boucheron and more. Today, our awe-inspiring department – brought to life by David Collins Studio – pays homage to these grand origins, with counters finished in cast bronze panels and designed in filigree, inspired by the Harrods archives.
We currently have limited availability of our size A box, which is the perfect size for holding valuable trinkets, fine watches and important documents.

Goodbye Plastic, Hello Paper
Last year, we removed all plastic carrier bags from the store and replaced them with a 100% recyclable, and sustainably sourced paper bag, made from 40% recycled materials. The FSC® label on our bags means that the paper is responsibly sourced, helping to take care of the world’s forests.
We’re Removing Bags in the Food Halls and Gift Shop
Change is coming! From 31st January 2023 Harrods will be removing all carrier bags from our Food Halls and Gift Shop departments, to continue our waste reduction efforts. Customers will be asked to use an existing carrier bag when shopping in these departments.
Whether you’re in search of the perfect gift or putting together your own capsule wardrobe, our Personal Shopping service is here to help. Book an appointment with the Knightsbridge team or shop the store from home to enjoy all that Harrods has to offer, wherever you are.
