Wedgwood Voyage of the Beagle Galapagos Islands Plate, Teacup and Saucer Set

$210.00

Every plate set depicts a unique port of call from the Beagle's voyage.

Wedgwood's latest bone china tea collection takes inspiration from Charles Darwin's five-year journey around the world on HMS Beagle – it was on this ship that the naturalist and geologist wrote his famous Journal and Remarks which was later republished as The Voyage of the Beagle. This three-piece set immortalises key moments in the Galapagos Islands expedition, namely seascapes, the giant tortoise, Darwin's cotton plant and finches, with original sketches inspired by Conrad Martens.
