This 18-year-old single malt scotch whisky from The Macallan has the perfect harmony of flavours thanks to its time spent in two handmade barrels: it’s matured in both American and European Oloroso sherry-seasoned oak casks. The American oak imparts vanilla, citrus and butterscotch while the European oak adds the spice that is at once subtle and unmistakable. Once the two whiskies are mixed, they form a single malt with a sweeter, warmer taste.
