Boodles’ A Family Journey collection is inspired by Nicholas Wainwright’s European Grand Tour, influenced by his father’s 1962 round-the-world adventure to discover fine diamonds and gemstones. The Prague ring calls to mind the city’s famous Art Nouveau facades and the work of Alphonse Mucha – the artist behind the theatrical posters that shot Sarah Bernhardt to fame – with an ornamental cushion-shape purple Malaya Madagascan garnet surrounded by teal enamel and diamonds.
