B&B Italia’s round Canasta ’13 sofa – the numeral denoting its 12 -year heritage as a behemoth of design inspiration – is a masterclass in modern decorating. It’s been designed with the natural environment in mind, the main characterisation being the curved interlacing of fibres that lets the light shine through. In the mood for some technical innovation? It can be placed on a 360° swivel base for optimum versatility, and has the option of a light, foldable hood that provides shade and protection from overhead rays while still allowing a bright, warm atmosphere.
