Chateau Phelan Segur is one of the best, with its 70 hectares of terroir perfect for growing Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Its namesake wine is meaty and well-developed, with a dusty and sweet/spice juxtaposition. Ripe with rounded tannins, it has a long finish – perfect for a multi-course dinner party.
