Sculpted brass represents some of nature’s most endangered animals, while sterling silver vermeil, topaz and an 18-karat gold nib bring the urgent design to life. As a final flourish, the engraved motto of Monaco, Deo Juvante – ‘with the help of God’ – cements this as an heirloom piece.
