The idea for Muuñ originated in Nyariga, a small town in Northern Ghana, where founder Audrey met a local craftsman named Tahiru. He was an expert in the tradition of straw-weaving, who dreamt of introducing his creations to the larger world – and so a seed was planted for a collection of artisanal straw basket bags to grow. Today, pieces like the Lily Anne bag are designed in France, infused with Scandinavian and Japanese influences and handmade with love in Ghana.
