Welcome to The Georgian, where refined gastronomy, world-class hospitality and captivating tableside theatre combine for a thrilling fine dining experience.
Since opening in 1911 as London’s largest restaurant, The Georgian has epitomised luxury, dedicating itself to creating unforgettable memories. Now, this storied venue unveils its latest chapter, presenting a glamorous afternoon tea as never before, alongside an evening dinner menu overseen by acclaimed chef Calum ‘Pie King’ Franklin.
Embracing the Roaring Twenties, when The Georgian’s famous thés dansants (tea dances) attracted the city’s fashionable elite, our reimagined restaurant captures the era’s artistry and grandeur at every turn.
Teatime presents a procession of warm scones, delicate savouries and picture-perfect cakes. From confit duck sandwiches with marmalade to pistachio religieuse with mousseline, praline and crunch, you’ll almost certainly ask for seconds. When it comes to music, an elegant soundtrack of live piano fills the air as tea sommeliers prepare exclusive blends.
You’ll also find special afternoon tea menus for children and those with dietary needs, alongside signature cocktails and fine wines.
Out on The Georgian's sun-drenched terrace meanwhile, a dedicated menu is offered throughout the day, including everything from cocktails and light nibbles to cream tea and finger sandwiches.
In the evening, the art of tableside service adds spectacle and ceremony to classic British cuisine, elevating signature dishes like The Georgian Pie, featuring slow-cooked shoulder of lamb, as well as grilled Dover sole with white wine sauce and apple trifle with Calvados-soaked sponge and vanilla crème diplomate.
With these details and the promise of even more wonderment upon arrival, we invite you to discover The Georgian, where every meal transcends dining – it’s a journey through time.
