Jessica McCormack Jewellery at Harrods

London-based diamond jeweller Jessica McCormack specialises in jewellery that’s both exceptionally crafted and effortlessly wearable. A favourite of Zendaya, Billie Eilish and fashion editors around the globe – and now modelled by actor, director and brand muse Zoë Kravitz – her signature Georgian cutdown rings, earrings and more are future heirlooms designed to be worn every single day. The Orbit Collection

An evolution of the brand’s signature Ball n Chain design, Jessica McCormack’s latest collection sees diamonds through a celestial lens. Taking inspiration from the golden age of astronomy in the 1800s, the 36-piece capsule features a series of sculptural necklaces, earrings, brooches and more, all set with colourful collector gemstones that aim to evoke the powerful mysticism of our solar system.

Day Diamonds

“Diamonds are too beautiful to be stored away and reserved for special occasions,” says Jessica McCormack of her Day Diamonds collection. “The intention is that my clients don’t feel overdressed wearing their jewellery in everyday life, or underdressed at a black-tie event. In my mind, that’s how modern dressing should be.”

Future Heirlooms

Balancing heritage craft and contemporary styling, Jessica McCormack is known for translating Georgian and Victorian craft for the modern age. These intricate future heirlooms are made in the London workshop, using time-honoured techniques passed down through generations of jewellers.

Meet the Designer

Jessica McCormack

The New Zealand-born designer launched her eponymous brand in 2008 with a mission to fuse heirloom design and contemporary style. “My upbringing has had a huge influence on my design approach,” she says. “As an auctioneer and art dealer, my father taught me to appreciate arts and antiques at a young age – his work sparked a love of taking something out of its original context and giving it new perspective and life.” McCormack’s designs are also informed by her early career in the jewellery department at Sotheby’s. “I had access to incredible pieces from around the world, including 1920s Cartier, Lalique and even the Crown Jewels. It was inspiring, and made me aware of the level of craftsmanship that is possible in jewellery design.”
