The story of the Comme des Garçons PLAY Heart logo is just as unconventional as the label itself.

In 1999, graphic artist Filip Pagowski created a series of designs for Comme des Garçons without seeing the upcoming season’s clothing, allowing him to find inspiration independent of the collection. While his lips, hearts, blades and eye designs appeared in a standout look from Autumn/Winter 2000, the iconic Heart would only resurface with the launch of the PLAY diffusion brand in 2002, selected as a recognisable emblem for the more casual line. Here, it adorns a Japan-crafted wool sweater, bringing a touch of high fashion iconography to your look.
