Made from pure Chardonnay – as expected from a Blanc de Blancs – Louis Roederer’s estate-bottled 2016 vintage is a softer option to the label’s other Champagnes. It’s fermented at a slightly lower pressure, making the mouth feel delicate while the fresh acidity maintains its flavour. Aged on the lees for 7 years, the blend exhibits the fruit-forward flavours and lushness expected from 2016’s conditions.
