The LOUIS XIII Le Mathusalem edition makes history for LOUIS XIII - the timeless cognac created in 1874 - as this is the first time a cognac has produced a mathusalem edition in crystal. Each elegant 600cl decanter has been blown by craftsmen of La Maison Baccarat to house this monumental cognac, an alchemy of up to 1200 eaux-de-vie (the youngest is at least 40 years old). With tasting notes and aromas of myrrh, honey, immortelle, plum, honeysuckle and leather, this tantalising blend promises great things. Befitting of its grandeur, Le Mathusalem comes presented in a luxurious display chest, featuring eight crystal glasses, a serving platter and a pipette, in honour of the ancestral tasting and serving rituals of the cellar masters.
