First produced in the ‘60s, the Geyserville is Ridge’s longest continual zinfandel production, making it something of an icon for the Californian winemaker. An ancient washout of the Russian River left behind stone and gravel at the site of the eventual vineyard, imparting a mineral character to the eponymous wine. This minerality combines with the ripe black fruits and spiced exotic oak flavours of the palate and silky tannins, leading to a long, resonant finish.
